Peoria downs Cincinnati, 5-2

Jiri Trubacik registered one point to lead Peoria to a 5-2 victory over Cincinnati.

Peoria's offense rang up 38 shots on Cincinnati's net.

Peoria also got points from Andrej Buchko, who also tallied two goals and two assists to lead the team in points and Thomas Kolaz, who also racked up one goal and two assists. Matt McPherson also scored for Peoria. More assists for Peoria came via Jack Power Wayvon, Jason Hoehn, and Braden Stewart, who contributed one each.

Cincinnati was helped by Kyle Kinnaman, who had one goal. Kinnaman scored on the power play 5:27 into the first period to make the score 1-1. A roughing penalty on Aaron Siegrist had put Cincinnati on the power play. Jacob Friedman provided the assist. Cincinnati additionally got points from Albert Janele, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Cincinnati received assists from Brian Tempel, who had one.

Ross Lipic made 14 saves for Peoria on 16 shots. Peoria incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tempel recorded 33 saves for Cincinnati. Cincinnati incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with three minors. For Cincinnati, Shawn Moody was ejected from the game.
