Evansville could not stop Atlanta's Jesse Brown, who tallied a hat trick in a 13-1 win. Brown's first goal came 2:49 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:02 into the second and at 5:03 into the third.Atlanta's Corey Boettcher was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past him. More assists for Evansville came via Nate Thormann and Michael Kelley, who contributed one each. Atlanta incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
