Bozeman beats Great Falls 2-1 after comeback scare

Bozeman survived a determined comeback attempt by Great Falls on the way to a 2-1 win.

A goal by Steven Nisbet put Bozeman up 2-0 in the second period, but Great Falls pulled to within one on Tegan Harrington's tally 19:38 into the third period.

Bozeman was boosted by Stephen Frank, who turned in a shutout with 26 saves. Frank certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.94 entering the contest.

Bozeman excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Bozeman also got a goal from Dylan Michaud as well. More assists for Bozeman came via Thomas Benedict, Elliott Hopkins, Kegan Couture, and John Dixon, who each chipped in one.

Great Falls could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Great Falls averages 4.3 goals per game.

In addition, Great Falls received assists from Tanner Congdon and Austin Krantz, who contributed one each.

Bozeman incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jake Stephan made 27 saves for Great Falls on 29 shots. Great Falls incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
