Huge game by Hebert boosts Louisiana over Euless, 8-4

Jonathan Hebert had two goals and one assist to lead Louisiana to an 8-4 victory over Euless.

Hebert's tallies came on the power play at 11:14 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Louisiana and on the power play 11:24 into the second to make the score 4-2 Louisiana.

In a losing effort, Euless was paced by Triston Wilson, who registered two goals and one assist. Wilson scored the first of his two goals at 5:14 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Louisiana. Trent Wolter assisted on the tally. Wilson's next tally made the score 6-4 Louisiana with 18:57 left in the third period. Kayne Fedor picked up the assist.

Louisiana forced Euless' netminders to work in net, taking 35 shots and forcing 27 saves. Thomas Bailey made 26 stops and Mike Severson made one. Louisiana's goal total was higher than its season average. Louisiana averages 2.9 goals per game. Louisiana could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.

Louisiana also got points from Dante Juris, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Eric Eaton, who also had one goal and one assist. Louisiana also had goals scored by Davis VanGemerden, who had two and Joshua Lodatto and Brayden Hutchinson, who scored one goal each. More assists for Louisiana came via Tucker Alspaugh, who had two and Eric Verdi, Jeremy Brown, and Joshua Jorajuria, who contributed one each.

Louisiana was unable to stop Euless from sending pucks towards the net, and Euless eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Euless outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, Euless averages 1.8 goal per contest.

Euless additionally got points from Fedor, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Euless also got a goal from Kyle Dudley as well. In addition, Euless received assists from Aaron Wade, Brandon Wade, Wyatt Gentry, and Anthony Chavez, who each chipped in one.
