Breezy Point tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Twin City would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-3. Twin City made the score 5-2 on a goal by Kyle Wagner at 15:00 in the third period, and Breezy Point got as close as 5-3 when Sean Viti scored 17:00 into the third period. Joe Costello was all over the ice for Twin City, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Costello scored the first of his two goals at 2:35 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Twin City. Tristan Mayer picked up the assist. Costello's next tally made the score 4-1 Twin City with 17:10 left in the third period. Wagner provided the assist. Twin City forced Breezy Point goalie Wes Paupore to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots. Twin City also got points from Wagner, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Mayer, who also had one goal and one assist. Twin City also got a goal from James Hale as well. More assists for Twin City came via Trevor Woytcke, who had two and Cory Martinez, Luc Kreuser, Jay Paul, and Bennett Witta, who contributed one each. Breezy Point kept Twin City's goalie busy throughout the game, and Gunnar Howg made 30 saves on 33 shots. The defensemen of Breezy Point were also effective in Twin City's zone, and came away with two goals. Breezy Point was helped by Reise Kieffer, who registered one goal. Kieffer scored 9:00 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Twin City. Patrik Johansson also scored for Breezy Point. Twin City incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
