West Michigan's Corey Siwula scored 1:06 into overtime to beat Toledo, 5-4 (OT). West Michigan forced Toledo's goalies to work without much rest, launching 40 shots and forcing 35 saves. Glen Bates made 27 stops and Jeremy Hamerquist made eight. The defensemen of West Michigan were also effective in Toledo's zone, and came away with two goals.
