Yellowstone's Dahlberg deadly on offense in 6-1 win against Billings

Behind a great game by Tony Dahlberg, who had four goals, Yellowstone defeated Billings, 6-1.

Dahlberg's first goal came 16:34 into the first period. He then added goals at 17:50 into the second, at 2:22 into the third, and at 9:19 into the third.

Yellowstone's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Billings power plays. Billings was unable to stop Yellowstone from sending pucks towards the net, and Yellowstone eventually piled up 52 shots on goal. Yellowstone found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Yellowstone has scored at the pace of 3.6 goals per game during the current campaign.

Yellowstone also got points from Nicholas Elliot, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Justin Berezinski, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Yellowstone received assists from Curtis Greenbush, who had one, Vadym Nesteruk, who had three, and Nick Green and Manuel Manero, who each chipped in two.

Billings excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Billings was led by Connor Melton, who scored the team's only goal. Melton scored 1:31 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Yellowstone. Chad Stucker assisted on the tally.

Derrick LaCombe rejected 23 shots on goal for Yellowstone. Yellowstone incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Gage Overby made 46 saves for Billings on 52 shots. Billings incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
