Breezy Point hangs on, beats Rochester 3-1

Breezy Point took the lead against Rochester in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 3-1 victory.

Breezy Point took over the lead for good with a goal by Sean Viti at 14:02 in the first period. Christian Lenzmeier provided the assist.

Breezy Point's Magnus Lindhe was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past him. Lindhe certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.78 entering the contest.

Breezy Point was paced by Austin Langworthy, who tallied one goal. Langworthy scored 4:17 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Breezy Point. Tyler Larwood picked up the assist.

Rochester was unable to stop Breezy Point from sending pucks towards the net, and Breezy Point eventually piled up 45 shots on goal. Breezy Point got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
