Logan Orem racked up one point to lead Nashville to a 3-1 victory over Cincinnati. Nashville forced Cincinnati goalie Daniel Dolliver to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. Nashville also got points from Max Dorfman, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Nashville also got a goal from Colton Anderson as well. Other players who recorded assists for Nashville were Peter Cabala, Riley Holden, Dylan Schmidt, and Conor Cunningham, who contributed one each. Nashville's defense shut down Cincinnati's forwards for much of the game, and Cincinnati got off only 14 shots during the contest. Cincinnati was led by Brenden Williams, who scored the team's only goal. Williams scored on the power play 16:50 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Nashville. Cincinnati had taken the advantage when Nashville's Anderson got sent off for roughing. Justin Bioni picked up the assist. Nashville's Ricky Gonzalez stopped 13 shots out of the 14 that he faced. Nashville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Dolliver rejected 31 shots on goal for Cincinnati. Cincinnati incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
