Nashville's Peter Cabala had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 9-1 win over Cincinnati.

Cabala scored 1:57 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Nashville. Dylan Schmidt assisted on the tally. Cabala dished an assist on Kyle Van Wyk's goal that made the score 3-1 Nashville at 3:35 into the second period. He added another helper on Logan Orem's goal that made the score 8-1 Nashville at 10:55 into the third period.

Nashville's penalty kill excelled, as Nashville gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Nashville forced Cincinnati's netminders to work all game long, racking up 36 shots and forcing 27 saves. Brian Tempel made 21 stops and Daniel Dolliver made six. Nashville stifled Cincinnati's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Nashville bested its season scoring average. Nashville has scored at the pace of 4.4 goals per game during the current campaign.

Nashville also got points from Orem, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Dakota Wilson also scored for Nashville. In addition, Nashville received assists from Brandon Orth, Riley McCann, Michael Redmon, Trent Kulczyk, Riley Holden, and Shane Dunsmore, who each chipped in one and Noah Keener, Kristers Petraskevis, and Conor Cunningham, who contributed two each.

Cincinnati excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Cincinnati was led by Marc Anderson, who scored the team's only goal. Anderson scored 14:31 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Albert Janele picked up the assist.

Nashville's Nicholas Ottenbacher stopped 16 shots out of the 17 that he faced. Nashville incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Cincinnati incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
