Cincinnati outlasts Peoria, 4-2

Cincinnati gutted out a close 4-2 win against Peoria.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Brady Kiplinger's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Kiplinger had a great game for Cincinnati, netting two goals.

Cincinnati additionally got points from Albert Janele, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Marc Anderson also scored for Cincinnati. In addition, Cincinnati received assists from Brenden Williams, who had two and Justin Bioni and Cobin Sanborn, who contributed one each.

Peoria was helped by Braden Stewart, who grabbed one goal. Stewart scored 4:29 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Peoria. Michael Butera provided the assist. Peoria also got a goal from Jack Power Wayvon as well. More assists for Peoria came via Zach Cox, who had one.

Brian Tempel recorded 24 saves for Cincinnati. Cincinnati incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Derek Fitzgerald made 17 saves for Peoria on 21 shots. Peoria incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
