Atlanta's Riley Hummitsch had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 10-3 win over Louisiana.

Hummitsch scored at 10:04 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Atlanta and again while on the power play 11:55 into the third to make the score 8-3 Atlanta.

Louisiana was unable to stop Atlanta from sending pucks towards the net, and Atlanta eventually piled up 60 shots on goal. Atlanta bested its season scoring average. Atlanta averages 6.1 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with four goals.

Atlanta also got points from Jacob Roers, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Kyle Rimbach, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Philip Pugliese, who also registered one goal and two assists, Jack Cleaver, who also had one goal and one assist, Evan Camba, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Ryan Dumond, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Ross Bartlett, who also registered one goal and one assist. Drake Cartwright also scored for Atlanta. More assists for Atlanta came via Aleksi Hoivala, Andrew Cooley, Drew Kelly, Artus Laukaitis, Bear Ross, Steve MacIver, and Frank Trazzera, who each chipped in one.

Atlanta's defense shut down Louisiana's forwards for much of the game, and Louisiana got off only 14 shots during the contest.

Louisiana was helped by Jeremy Brown, who had one goal. Brown scored 1:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Louisiana. Mitch Dolese provided the assist. Others who scored for Louisiana included Joshua Lodatto and Dante Juris, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Louisiana were Timothy Zittel, who had one.

Atlanta took out Corey Boettcher after he had made six saves and installed Alekandr Zendejas in goal, where he finished with five saves and the win. Atlanta incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Sean Angle made 50 saves for Louisiana on 60 shots. Louisiana incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
