Tyler McMahon had one point to lead Glacier to a 5-2 victory over Billings. Glacier put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Billings to score on any of its four power plays. Glacier forced Billings goalie Gage Overby to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Glacier outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, Glacier averages 2.6 goals per contest. Glacier also got points from Wyatt Fretheim, who also finished with one goal and one assist and William Bostwick, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Glacier also had goals scored by Dustin Foran and Collin Schieman, who each put in one. In addition, Glacier received assists from Ronald Robertson, who had one and Marvin Simmons, who had two. Billings managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Billings ended up below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game. Billings kept Glacier's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ben Perone made 44 saves on 46 shots. Billings was led by Edward Hoppmann, who racked up one goal. Hoppmann scored 10:42 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Luke Erickson provided the assist. Jeremy Vandekerkhove also scored for Billings.
