Point Mallard had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over Euless.

Jake Cox had two goals and one assist to lead Point Mallard. Cox scored the first of his two goals at 13:03 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Point Mallard. Justin Clark picked up the assist. Cox's next tally made the score 4-1 Point Mallard with 4:46 left in the third period. Justin Dunn assisted on the tally.

Point Mallard excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Point Mallard kept Euless' goalie busy throughout the game, and Thomas Bailey made 54 saves on 60 shots.

Euless did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 13 shots on net to force 12 saves.

Euless was led by Benjamin Kraus, who scored the team's only goal. Kraus scored short handed 3:47 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Point Mallard. Euless played down a man on Aaron Wade's kneeing. Trent Wolter picked up the assist.
