A stellar performance between the pipes by Joe Morgan helped Wooster defeat Toledo, 2-1.

Wooster was led by Tyler Houmard, who registered one goal. Houmard scored 3:53 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Wooster. Mike Ragone provided the assist.

Wooster was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 24 penalty minutes.

Wooster also got a goal from Will Schober as well. In addition, Wooster received assists from Mike Zenone, who had one.

Toledo's offense operated below its season average. Toledo puts an average of 3.5 pucks into the net per game.

Toledo was led by Austin Turner, who scored the team's only goal. Turner scored on the power play 19:55 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Wooster. Toledo had gained a power play chance when Tyler Crites was whistled for interference. Tyler Zalecki assisted on the tally.

Wooster's Morgan stopped 26 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Wooster registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Glen Bates made 23 saves for Toledo on 25 shots. Toledo incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
