Peoria tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Nashville held on for a 4-3 victory. Nashville took a 4-2 lead during the third period, only to have Peoria storm back on a Austin Wisely goal 13:55 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Nashville was paced by Peter Cabala, who finished with one goal. Cabala scored on the power play 13:33 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Nashville. Nashville had gotten the advantage when Peoria's Nathan Marlow was sent off for tripping. Andrew Kluge picked up the assist. The defensemen of Nashville were also effective in Peoria's zone, and came away with two goals.
