Cincinnati had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-5 win over Evansville.

Brady Kiplinger and Brenden Williams provided the spark for Cincinnati, combining for four goals and three assists. Kiplinger had two goals and two assists and Williams also notched two goals and one assist.

Evansville was led by Brandon Bornkamp, who grabbed three goals and one assist. Evansville additionally got points from Brett Howard Jr., who also had one goal and two assists. Evansville also got a goal from Manbir Nahal as well. In addition, Evansville received assists from Jon Grimm, who had three.
