Louisiana's Tucker Alspaugh had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-2 win over Sugar Land.

Alspaugh scored on the power play at 8:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Louisiana and again while 18:58 into the third to make the score 4-2 Louisiana.

Louisiana stifled Sugar Land's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Louisiana outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, Louisiana averages 2.5 goals per contest. Louisiana's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in four goals.

Louisiana also got points from Dante Juris, who also registered one goal and two assists. Louisiana also had goals scored by Mitch Dolese and Jeremy Brown, who each put in one. In addition, Louisiana received assists from Jacob Istre, Joshua Lodatto, and Davis VanGemerden, who contributed one each.

Louisiana was unable to stop Sugar Land from sending pucks towards the net, and Sugar Land eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. Sugar Land's defense was uncharacteristically lax during the game.
