Great Falls takes care of Glacier early, wins 12-1

Glacier fell behind early, and Great Falls kept piling on the points on the way to a 12-1 victory.

Josh Larson was all over the ice for Great Falls, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Larson scored 3:58 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Great Falls.

Great Falls pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

Great Falls forced Glacier's goalies to work without much rest, totaling 56 shots and forcing 44 saves. Mikhail Pahrebets made 29 stops and Ryall Purdy made 15. Great Falls got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Great Falls additionally got points from Tegan Harrington, who also tallied one goal and three assists to lead the team in points, Stevan Goran, who also had one goal and one assist, Colton Fletcher, who also registered one goal and two assists, Adam Apangalook, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Ricards Bernhards, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Great Falls also got a goal from Brendan Jester as well. Other players who recorded assists for Great Falls were Arseny Ivanov and Tanner Congdon, who contributed one each and Reed Link and Austin Krantz, who each chipped in two.

Great Falls' Lauren Massie stopped 20 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Great Falls registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Glacier incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
