Iowa Wild (mm) tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm) held on for a 5-3 victory.

A goal by Felipe Castellanos put San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm) up 5-2 in the third period, but Iowa Wild (mm) pulled to within two on Logan Ellingboe's tally 15:10 into the third period.

Alexander Chaple was all over the ice for San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm), as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win. Chaple scored 13:17 into the first period to make the score 3-1 San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm). Matthew Durst assisted on the tally.
