Colorado Rampage (MM) shrugs off penalties, upends LA Jr. Kings (MM), 4-1

LA Jr. Kings (MM) failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and Colorado Rampage (MM) shook off a number of penalties to win, 4-1.

Colorado Rampage (MM) was paced by Carson Briske, who grabbed one goal. Briske scored 13:29 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Colorado Rampage (MM). Mack Starr picked up the assist.

Colorado Rampage (MM)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on nine LA Jr. Kings (MM) power plays. Colorado Rampage (MM)'s offense rang up 38 shots on LA Jr. Kings (MM)'s net.

Colorado Rampage (MM) also had goals scored by Alex Truscott, Tyler Millar, and Jaren Panick, who scored one goal each. More assists for Colorado Rampage (MM) came via Adam Vandenbos, Adam Anderson, Rylin Quintana, and Ben Barrett, who contributed one each.

LA Jr. Kings (MM) was led by Austin Bowkus, who scored the team's only goal. Bowkus scored 16:27 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Tanner Osterkamp provided the assist.

Kevin Lake made 20 saves for Colorado Rampage (MM) on 21 shots. Colorado Rampage (MM) incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Colorado Rampage (MM) ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Quintana was ejected from the game.
