New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U uses big second period to beat Pikes Peak Miners 16U, 8-1

Pikes Peak Miners 16U allowed New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U to net four goals during the second period and fell, 8-1.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U got the win with help from a great game by Gavin Gulash, who had two goals and one assist. Gulash scored the first of his two goals at 15:46 into the first period to make the score 2-1 New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U. Kyle Jeffers picked up the assist. Gulash's next tally made the score 6-1 New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U with 3:03 left in the second period. Jeffers assisted on the tally.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U's penalty kill excelled, as New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.
