Early goals doom Washington Little Capitals 16U, falls to Omaha AAA 16U, 6-1

A five-goal first period deficit cost Washington Little Capitals 16U, which could not recover and fell to Omaha AAA 16U, 6-1.

Kyle Kawamura was all over the ice for Omaha AAA 16U, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Kawamura scored 3:33 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Omaha AAA 16U. Luke Suter picked up the assist.

Omaha AAA 16U forced Washington Little Capitals 16U's netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, ripping 53 shots and forcing 47 saves.
