Jacob McClelland racked up one point to lead Esmark Stars 16U to a 2-1 victory over Pursuit of Excellence 16U.

Pursuit of Excellence 16U was unable to stop Esmark Stars 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and Esmark Stars 16U eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Esmark Stars 16U also got a goal from Ethan Webb as well. In addition, Esmark Stars 16U received assists from William Carr, Andrew Wells, Samuel Andrek, and Christian Gorscak, who each chipped in one.

Pursuit of Excellence 16U was led by Chase Sakic, who scored the team's only goal. Sakic scored on the power play 15:14 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Pursuit of Excellence 16U. A slashing penalty on Alex Singley had put Pursuit of Excellence 16U on the power play. Nolan Dawson assisted on the tally.

Esmark Stars 16U's Tyrik Barkley stopped 15 shots out of the 16 that he faced. Esmark Stars 16U incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Noah Desouza rejected 29 shots on goal for Pursuit of Excellence 16U. Pursuit of Excellence 16U incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
