Rocky Mountain Roughriders 16U survived a determined comeback attempt by Pikes Peak Miners 16U on the way to a 2-1 win.

A goal by Adam Millar put Rocky Mountain Roughriders 16U up 2-0 in the third period, but Pikes Peak Miners 16U pulled to within one on Caleb Gudzunas's tally 13:42 into the third period.

Rocky Mountain Roughriders 16U was sparked by Millar, who had one goal. Millar scored 11:42 into the third period to make the score 2-0 Rocky Mountain Roughriders 16U. Luke Marsh provided the assist.
