HC Dallas 16U vanquishes Arizona Bobcats 16U in shootout, 3-2

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as HC Dallas 16U defeated Arizona Bobcats 16U in a shootout 3-2.

The shootout featured 12 attempts between both teams. Arizona Bobcats 16U got shootout goals from Kaid Oliver and Joe DiGiulio. In addition to the clincher, HC Dallas 16U got shootout goals from Brandon Speights and Keagan ODonoghue.

HC Dallas 16U came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. HC Dallas 16U fell behind 2-0 after a goal by Arizona Bobcats 16U's Brock Sottile at 9:15 in the second period. HC Dallas 16U knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Ben Fugger at 14:58 in the second period.

HC Dallas 16U managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. HC Dallas 16U ended up below its season average of 18.0 penalty minutes per game.
