Arizona Bobcats 16U wins tough contest against Madison Capitols 16U, 3-2

Arizona Bobcats 16U and Madison Capitols 16U were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Arizona Bobcats 16U made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Kaid Oliver secured the win for Arizona Bobcats 16U with a goal in the second period.

Oliver had a great game for Arizona Bobcats 16U, netting two goals.

Arizona Bobcats 16U kept Madison Capitols 16U's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nathan Reid made 32 saves on 35 shots.

Zachary Canaan also scored for Arizona Bobcats 16U. In addition, Arizona Bobcats 16U received assists from Jonas Edwards, who had one and Brendan Winslow and Hunter Cook, who each chipped in two.

Madison Capitols 16U was helped by Brady Bjork, who finished with one goal. Bjork scored on the power play 11:03 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Madison Capitols 16U had taken the advantage when Arizona Bobcats 16U's Brock Sottile got sent off for high sticking. Kyle Schott picked up the assist. Madison Capitols 16U also got a goal from Jack Michels as well. Other players who recorded assists for Madison Capitols 16U were Coltin Craigo, Conor Mikula, and Matthew Jones, who contributed one each.

Cameron Sniffin rejected 14 shots on goal for Arizona Bobcats 16U. Arizona Bobcats 16U incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Madison Capitols 16U incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
