Todd Scott stood on his head and made 26 saves to lead Omaha AAA 16U to a 4-1 victory over California Titans 16U. Omaha AAA 16U was sparked by Carter Krogman, who had one goal. Krogman scored 15:08 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Omaha AAA 16U. Luke Suter provided the assist. Omaha AAA 16U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow California Titans 16U to score on any of its four power plays. Omaha AAA 16U forced California Titans 16U goalie Nicholas Kaltala to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Omaha AAA 16U also got points from Jackson Decker, who also registered one goal and one assist and Austin Nault, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Omaha AAA 16U also got a goal from Kendrick Frost as well. In addition, Omaha AAA 16U received assists from Garrett Anderson, Kyle Kawamura, Sam Renlund, and Chaz Rometty, who contributed one each. California Titans 16U was led by Justin LeBouef, who scored the team's only goal. LeBouef scored 15:48 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Omaha AAA 16U. Cameron Manory assisted on the tally. Omaha AAA 16U incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. California Titans 16U's Kaltala stopped 44 shots out of the 48 that he faced. California Titans 16U incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
