Omaha AAA 16U blows out Valley Forge Minutemen 16U, 6-2

Omaha AAA 16U had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-2 win over Valley Forge Minutemen 16U.

Valley Forge Minutemen 16U's power play was ineffective against Omaha AAA 16U's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Omaha AAA 16U excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. Omaha AAA 16U forced Valley Forge Minutemen 16U goalie Matt Hollingshead to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots. Omaha AAA 16U could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.
