Washington Little Capitals 16U survives Meijer AAA 16U comeback, wins 3-2

Meijer AAA 16U tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Washington Little Capitals 16U would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2.

Washington Little Capitals 16U made the score 3-1 on a goal by Griffin Long at 6:50 in the second period, and Meijer AAA 16U got as close as 3-2 when Bradley Postula scored 12:49 into the third period.

Washington Little Capitals 16U's penalty kill excelled, as Washington Little Capitals 16U gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.
