Omaha AAA 16U blows out Pursuit of Excellence 16U, 9-1

Omaha AAA 16U had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 9-1 win over Pursuit of Excellence 16U.

Omaha AAA 16U was sparked by Trail Thompson, who tallied one goal. Thompson scored 16:11 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Omaha AAA 16U. Kyle Kawamura provided the assist.

Omaha AAA 16U stifled Pursuit of Excellence 16U's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Omaha AAA 16U's offense rang up 54 shots on Pursuit of Excellence 16U's net.
