MNEPDL South 16U pulls away in second, rolls over Pikes Peak Miners 16U, 9-0

MNEPDL South 16U used a four-goal second period to put away Pikes Peak Miners 16U, 9-0.

Colin Schmidt had two goals and two assists to lead MNEPDL South 16U. Schmidt scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 12:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 MNEPDL South 16U. MNEPDL South 16U earned a power play opportunity when Justin Vickers was put in the box for slashing. Noah Deraney assisted on the tally.
