Compuware 16U wins tough contest against CYA 16U, 4-2Schwan SR-5 Sun, Sep 27, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Compuware 16U gutted out a close 4-2 win against CYA 16U. Compuware 16U gained the winning advantage on a goal by Josh Martin 11:25 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. CYA 16U's power play was ineffective against Compuware 16U's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. Compuware 16U found itself short handed often, totaling 24 penalty minutes and allowing seven power plays. Compuware 16U's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals. Compuware 16U was led by Matt Stoia, who registered two goals. Stoia scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 12:17 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Compuware 16U.
