Huge game by Jeffers boosts New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U over Esmark Stars 16U, 6-1

New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U's Kyle Jeffers had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 6-1 win over Esmark Stars 16U.

Jeffers' tallies came at 5:50 into the first period to make the score 2-0 New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U and on the power play 4:36 into the second to make the score 3-1 New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U additionally got points from Matt Mood, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Gavin Gulash, who also tallied one goal and one assist. New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U also had goals scored by Tommy Donnelly and Ryan Lambert, who scored one goal each. In addition, New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U received assists from Rece Bergeman, Gerard Marretta, John DAniello, and Sam Weber, who contributed one each.

Esmark Stars 16U did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 14 shots on net to force 13 saves.

Esmark Stars 16U was led by Alex Singley, who scored the team's only goal. Singley scored on the power play 2:36 into the second period to make the score 2-1 New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U. A high sticking penalty on Michael Racioppi had put Esmark Stars 16U on the power play. Jacob McClelland assisted on the tally.

Anthony Del Tufo rejected 13 shots on goal for New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U. New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Tyrik Barkley recorded 17 saves for Esmark Stars 16U. Esmark Stars 16U totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play.
