Perez nets hat trick, leads Pikes Peak Miners 16U to 3-1 win over San Diego Jr. Gulls 16U

Joshua Perez netted a hat trick to lead Pikes Peak Miners 16U over San Diego Jr. Gulls 16U, 3-1.

Perez notched his first tally 5:44 into the second period. He then added goals at 16:42 into the second and at 16:32 into the third.

San Diego Jr. Gulls 16U's power play was ineffective against Pikes Peak Miners 16U's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.
