Huge game by Lindsay boosts Meijer AAA 16U over Arizona Bobcats 16U, 5-2

Cam Lindsay was all over the ice for Meijer AAA 16U, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Meijer AAA 16U's 5-2 win over Arizona Bobcats 16U.

Lindsay found the back of the net 14:21 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Meijer AAA 16U and again while 5:31 into the third to make the score 4-1 Meijer AAA 16U.

Meijer AAA 16U pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 48 penalty minutes.

Meijer AAA 16U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on 13 Arizona Bobcats 16U power plays.

Meijer AAA 16U also got points from Alex Schneider, who also registered one goal and one assist. Meijer AAA 16U also had goals scored by Justin Renzi and Sam Millman, who each put in one. In addition, Meijer AAA 16U received assists from Max Hendrickson and Tobin Bachusz, who each chipped in one.

Arizona Bobcats 16U's offense was handcuffed by Meijer AAA 16U's defensive play, and Arizona Bobcats 16U managed only 14 shots on goal during the game.

Arizona Bobcats 16U was led by Brock Sottile, who had one goal and one assist. Sottile scored 4:23 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Meijer AAA 16U. Jeremy Masella picked up the assist. Keaton Caplis also scored for Arizona Bobcats 16U. More assists for Arizona Bobcats 16U came via Tyler Benson, who had one.

James Durham rejected 12 shots on goal for Meijer AAA 16U. Meijer AAA 16U registered one goal on two power play opportunities.
