Chicago Mission 16U had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over Meijer AAA 16U.

Chicago Mission 16U pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 32 penalty minutes.

Chicago Mission 16U was led by Jay Feiwell, who registered one goal. Feiwell scored 1:01 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Chicago Mission 16U. Mathieu De St Phalle provided the assist.

Chicago Mission 16U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Meijer AAA 16U power plays. Chicago Mission 16U kept Meijer AAA 16U's goalie busy throughout the game, and CJ Hapward made 46 saves on 51 shots.
