Philadelphia Little Flyers 18U uses shootout to best California Titans 18U, 3-2

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Philadelphia Little Flyers 18U defeated California Titans 18U in a shootout 3-2.

The shootout featured nine attempts between both teams.

Philadelphia Little Flyers 18U forced California Titans 18U goalie Rett Rook to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

Philadelphia Little Flyers 18U was helped by Anthony Starzi, who registered one goal. Starzi scored 9:50 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Lars Culver picked up the assist. Ryan Vogt also scored for Philadelphia Little Flyers 18U.
