Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Thunder Bay Kings 18U defeated Arizona Bobcats 18U in a shootout 3-2.

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams.

Thunder Bay Kings 18U came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Thunder Bay Kings 18U trailed 2-0 after a goal by Arizona Bobcats 18U's Tony Cimato at 9:59 in the first period. Thunder Bay Kings 18U knotted things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Logan Mihalcin at 7:31 in the third period.
