Pursuit of Excellence 18U tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but St. Louis Selects 18U held on for a 4-2 victory.

A goal by Zach Fizer put St. Louis Selects 18U up 4-1 in the third period, but Pursuit of Excellence 18U pulled to within two on Ty Pochipinski's tally 1:06 into the third period.

St. Louis Selects 18U was sparked by Nicholas Nelson, who registered one goal. Nelson scored 2:31 into the second period to make the score 3-1 St. Louis Selects 18U. Joey Rosa provided the assist.

St. Louis Selects 18U additionally got points from Fizer, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points.
