Meijer AAA 18U survived a determined comeback attempt by Pursuit of Excellence 18U on the way to a 3-2 win.

Meijer AAA 18U made the score 3-1 on a goal by Zack Olen at 10:24 in the second period, and Pursuit of Excellence 18U got as close as 3-2 when Ty Pochipinski scored 15:41 into the third period.

Meijer AAA 18U's penalty kill excelled, as Meijer AAA 18U gave up one goal despite allowing 11 power plays.
