Omaha AAA 18U rips Wenatchee Wolves 18U, 4-1

Omaha AAA 18U had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over Wenatchee Wolves 18U.

Omaha AAA 18U was led by Nicholas Caprio, who racked up one goal. Caprio scored 10:58 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Omaha AAA 18U. Jordan Wishman provided the assist.

Omaha AAA 18U managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Omaha AAA 18U finished below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game. Omaha AAA 18U forced Wenatchee Wolves 18U goalie Max Flynn to work between the pipes, taking 49 shots.

Omaha AAA 18U also got a goal from Jordan Fader as well. More assists for Omaha AAA 18U came via Phil Heisse, who had one and Brendon Gysbers and Conor Yawney, who each chipped in two.
