Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 18U uses shootout to best Pikes Peak Miners 18U, 3-2

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 18U defeated Pikes Peak Miners 18U in a shootout 3-2.

The shootout lasted for 20 attempts between the teams. Pikes Peak Miners 18U got a shootout goal from Calvon Boots. In addition to the clincher, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 18U got a shootout goal from Paul DeNaples.
