Esmark Stars 18U's comeback falls short, Honeybaked 18U wins 4-2

Honeybaked 18U, which led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Esmark Stars 18U and clinched a 4-2 victory.

Honeybaked 18U led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Honeybaked 18U's Fedor Gusynin scored at 2:53 in the third period to put Honeybaked 18U up 3-0.

Honeybaked 18U's penalty kill excelled, as Honeybaked 18U gave up one goal despite allowing nine power plays.

Honeybaked 18U was helped by Noah LaLonde, who had one goal. LaLonde scored 15:34 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Honeybaked 18U. Honeybaked 18U additionally got points from Raegan Wortz, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Logan Fish also scored for Honeybaked 18U. In addition, Honeybaked 18U received assists from Dan Sokolka, Brendan Graham, and Kelton Hatcher, who contributed one each.

Esmark Stars 18U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Honeybaked 18U to score on any of its four power plays.
