Little Caesars 18U rolls over Team Illinois 18U, 4-1

Little Caesars 18U had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over Team Illinois 18U.

Alexander Andonoff had two goals to lead Little Caesars 18U to victory. Andonoff found the back of the net 29 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Little Caesars 18U and again while on the power play 10:16 into the second to make the score 3-1 Little Caesars 18U.

Little Caesars 18U pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 24 penalty minutes.

Little Caesars 18U excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances.

Little Caesars 18U additionally got points from Gueorgui Feduolov, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Little Caesars 18U also got a goal from Jamison Ramin as well. Other players who recorded assists for Little Caesars 18U were Jacob Jennings, Jacob Skolnik, and Spencer Stanley, who each chipped in one.

Little Caesars 18U's defense shut down Team Illinois 18U's forwards for much of the game, and Team Illinois 18U got off only eight shots during the contest. Team Illinois 18U could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 22 minutes in penalties during the game.

Team Illinois 18U was led by Patrick Johns, who scored the team's only goal. Johns scored 2:37 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Little Caesars 18U. Jacob Ambrosat provided the assist.
