The New York Lizards prevailed over the Boston Cannons, 16-15 (OT) in overtime, on a game-winning goal by Matt Gibson. With six goals and two assists between them, Paul Rabil and Gibson teamed up to power New York's offense. Rabil registered two goals and two assists and Gibson also added four goals. The Lizards made Boston's netminders to work between the pipes, getting 44 shots and forcing 13 saves. Adam Ghitelman made four stops and Jordan Burke made nine. New York also got points from Jo-Jo Marasco, who also registered three goals and one assist, Rob Pannell, who also registered two goals and two assists and Tommy Palasek, who also registered one goal and one assist. New York also got a goal from Mike Stone as well. The Cannons kept New York's goalie busy throughout the game, and Drew Adams made 20 saves on 33 shots. Boston was led by Ryan Tucker, who finished with two goals and one assist. Boston additionally got points from Will Manny, who also registered one goal and one assist. Boston also had goals scored by John Glesener, Kevin Buchanan, Josh Hawkins and Max Seibald, who each put in two and Brent Adams and Owen Blye, who scored one goal each. More assists for Boston came via David Emala, Scott Ratliff, Wells Stanwick and Joe Nardella, who contributed one apiece. The Lizards won 19 faceoffs to 14 for the Cannons. Greg Gurenlian won 19 for the Lizards.
