Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Fox Motors (MM) defeated Cleveland Barons (MM) in a shootout 4-3 (2-1 SO). The shootout featured 12 attempts between both teams. Cleveland Barons (MM)'s shootout goal was scored by Sean Moore. In addition to the clincher, Fox Motors (MM) got a shootout goal from Zach Heintz.Fox Motors (MM) overcame a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Fox Motors (MM) was down 3-2 after a goal by Cleveland Barons (MM)'s Brendon Schultz at 16:51 in the second period.
