Matt Corey netted a hat trick to lead Roc City over Northeast, 8-1.

Corey got on the scoresheet 9:56 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:58 into the second and at 17:02 into the third.

Roc City scored early and often, and held a 4-0 advantage after the first 20 minutes of play.

Roc City's Ian Stahl was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 29 saves and let only one puck past him. Stahl certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 4.9 entering the contest.
