Cape Cod climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Wilkes-Barre, 5-4.

Cape Cod let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Cape Cod took a 2-1 advantage on a goal by Maxime Dordet at 5:04 in the second period. Cape Cod found itself down 4-2 after Wilkes-Barre's Matthew Emerick put the puck home at 15:00 in the second period. After tying things up at 5-5 on a goal by Ryan Flanagan at 18:01 in the third, Cape Cod got the game-winner from James Brosnan at 10:25 in the third period.

Dordet had one goal and two assists to lead Cape Cod.

Cape Cod excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. Wilkes-Barre was unable to stop Cape Cod from sending pucks towards the net, and Cape Cod eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.

Cape Cod additionally got points from Mike Jessman, who also registered one goal and one assist. Cape Cod also had goals scored by Steven Mathews and Eric Szeker, who each put in one. In addition, Cape Cod received assists from Zack Goodman, Anthony Giannelli, Max Campbell, Chuck Costello, Dan Moore, and Chris ODonnell, who contributed one each.

Wilkes-Barre's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on nine Cape Cod power plays. Wilkes-Barre's offense rang up 40 shots on Cape Cod's net.
