Deady's goals lift Cape Cod to 7-3 victory over New England

Aaron Deady was all over the ice for Cape Cod, as he tallied two goals in Cape Cod's 7-3 win over New England.

Deady's tallies came at 4:29 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Cape Cod and 5:07 into the first to make the score 2-0 Cape Cod.

Cape Cod's penalty kill excelled, as Cape Cod gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays.

Cape Cod also got points from Maxime Dordet, who also registered one goal and one assist and Chris ODonnell, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Cape Cod also got a goal from James Brosnan as well. More assists for Cape Cod came via Eric Szeker, who had three, Zack Goodman and Dan Moore, who contributed one each, and Anthony Giannelli, Chuck Costello, and Jake Davis, who each chipped in two.

New England racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with nine minors and one major for 33 minutes in penalty time. New England surpassed its season average of 18.0 penalty minutes per game. New England's offense rang up 39 shots on Cape Cod's net.

New England was helped by John Krapian, who registered one goal. Krapian scored 11:33 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Cape Cod. Ryan Gauvin picked up the assist. Others who scored for New England included Brian Glover and Steve Crocker, who each put in one. In addition, New England received assists from Hunter McTague, Tim Paige, and Nick Johnson, who contributed one each.

Anton Zemba recorded 36 saves for Cape Cod. Cape Cod incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. New England's starting goalie, Devyn Levesque, made 14 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Robbie Campbell, who stopped four shots. For New England, Brandon Hamner was ejected from the game.
